Baroness Anne Jenkin (nee Strutt). Husband is Bernard Jenkin MP for Harwich and North Essex.

Reluctant politician. Conservative whip. Member of the House of Lords since January 2011.

For charity work (Patron, Restless Development, Former Trustee UNICEF UK, currently Trustee WRAP, Cool Earth, Feeding Britain, Fawcett Society and Henry Oldfield Trust).

Founding Member and Patron

After several years working as a development economist in underdeveloped countries, he specialised in the energy industries becoming a Partner of a leading City firm.   Elected to Parliament in 1983, he became a Treasury Minister in 1987, joined Mrs Thatcher’s cabinet as Secretary of State for Tr
